1. Matilda wants to go to polys funeral but her mother says no. Her mother claims it will give her nightmares, however Matilda doesn't believe it. What is the real reason Matilda mother refuses her to attend poly's funeral.
2. Compare and contrast the way Matilda mother feels about the possibility of a fever spreading with the way her grand father feels. Who does Matilda side with? Why do you think that is?
1.) I'm not really sure why her mother wont allow her too go to the funeral. Maybe because she just wants Matilda to move on.
ReplyDelete2.)I think that Matilda doesn't really know what she thinks about the fever yet. She most likely doesn't want her family to get it but she doesn't want to have to hide away in the house forever because of it either.
